Our Commitment to Waste Reduction

Responsible waste management is more crucial than ever in the modern world. Decades’ worth of single-use packaging is now creating consequences on a massive scale. Al Tabee’ah is committed to being a part of the solution instead of perpetuating the problem. We design our products with environmental impact in mind from beginning to end—ensuring that the resources we use are sustainably sourced, crafting each item to provide a satisfying user experience, and considering the eventual end of each product’s life. As a result, all of our disposable and plantable products are 100% biodegradable. Our reusable products are skilfully crafted to last a long time, and are made of materials that are either biodegradable (such as bamboo and cotton) or recyclable and naturally occurring (such as glass and metal). Reducing plastic waste isn’t just necessary, it’s possible!
While individually we are mindful of our carbon footprint, we are ensuring to take our place in the global carbon footprint reduction effort. We are seeking out partners with shared vision and contributing to United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the global sustainable development goals (SDGs), in particular, SDG #12, ‘Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG # 13 ‘Climate Action’.
